Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children of Sumy Region

The Centre of social and psychological rehabilitation for Children is a family centered institution which supports 50 children aged 3-18 y.o who have fallen into difficult living conditions, homeless children, orphans and children who are left without parental care and means of living. The center was opened in August 2012. It can be accessed by all children in the Sumy region who require it. We provide children with psychological support, medical, educational and legal services. Children are loved and encouraged here.
1) use of modern pedagogical forms, methods and innovative technologies in working with children that ensure a high quality social and psychological rehabilitation of children and quick stabilization of their emotional sphere;
2) our Centre will provide comprehensive social, educational, psychological and family stabilization services to children and their families. Working in close collaboration with other community and state agencies, including schools, our staff is prepared to respond to a wide range of emotional and psychological problems from family adjustment and behavioral issues to serious social and psychological problems.
Our facilities:
On the basis of the center, the charitable organization Charitable Foundation of Sumy “Future Together” was organized. The main goal of the foundation is to carry out charitable activities for all categories of people who need it. The priority task is to protect children, organize their leisure time and all-round development.
We have been given a building (for the organization of a summer camp) on free of charge rent in a bad condition. We are trying to do everything we can to renovate it and create comfortable home conditions for our children, but, unfortunately, we are too short of financial provision. We are asking for your help!
